The Director General, Markus Henriksson

• The Director General manages Valvira and is responsible for ensuring that the authority's tasks are performed efficiently, financially and efficiently.
• The Director-General is responsible for the authority's communications and the implementation of the authority's strategy in cooperation with the Heads of Department and the Head of Communications.

The Director General directly oversees the Communications unit and Development Manager Petri Huovinen and Executive Assistant Anne Aapro.
