Valvira.fi
This accessibility statement tells you how the valvira.fi e-service complies with the Act on the Provision of Digital Services (306/2019), what the shortcomings of the site are and how you can give us feedback about accessibility issues.
This accessibility statement is dated 23 September 2020. Valvira has assessed site availability in cooperation with the technical provider of the site. An accessibility audit of the Valvira.fi site will be conducted later in 2020 and this accessibility statement will be updated on the basis of this audit.
Valvira.fi compliance
Valvira’s site largely meets the level A and AA criteria of Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1.
Valvira’s website was published in its present form in May 2015. We are working the whole time to improve the accessibility of our e-service. We will endeavour to rectify the shortcomings in the web content of the service by the end of June 2021.
We will endeavour to rectify during 2021 the accessibility shortcomings in the downloadable documents published since 23 September 2018. Downloadable documents published prior to 23 September 2018 will be made accessible on request and in conjunction with other updating work. All Valvira’s service forms will, on request, be made available in accessible format. We will endeavour to rectify the shortcomings in video subtitling and audio descriptions during 2021.
