Changes in Valvira’s fees effective as of 1 January 2016 – changes mostly to fees for professional practice rights

The Decree of the Ministry of Social Affairs and Health on Chargeable Services by Valvira was signed on 30 December 2015 and the new fees came into force on 1 January 2016. Most of the fees remain unchanged. However, with regard to professional practice rights, the Decree has added some new fees as a result of new statutory responsibilities assumed by Valvira. For example, Valvira will charge €150 for work relating to a European professional card and the fee for recognition of a doctor’s or dentist’s qualification obtained outside the EU/ETA will be €100.
